EAGLES OF DEATH METAL SET ‘DEATH BY SEXY’ EURO TOUR
Band to celebrate 20th anniversary of album release
Classic rock band Eagles of Death Metal will hit the road in support of the 20th anniversary of its seminal album “Death By Sexy,” performing the classic release in full as well its greatest hits and a few surprises.
The tour will kick off Nov. 2 in Bern, Switzerland and will hit France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands before concluding with six shows in the U.K.
The trek following the enormous success of a series of shows the band did in Los Angeles last year where they performed the album in its entirety to sold out crowds.
“Death By Sexy” is EODM’s second album and was released in the U.S. April 11, 2006, in Europe on July 3, 2006, and features classic cuts such as “Don’t Speak (I Came to Make a Bang!)” “I Want You So Hard (Boys Bad News)” and “Cherry Cola.”
Much like its predecessor “Peace Love and Death Metal,” “Death By Sexy” was met with positive reviews, with Rolling Stone saying, “the sexy propulsion could light up a bar, or a strip club.”
