The 3 things that rule my life. Singing, Snowboarding and Photography. None of them pay my rent but it's not stopping me from pursuit.
Grew up in Texas. Moved to L.A. when I was "Just Nineteen." No, really. Not a joke. Got over my stagefright at 22 and joined my first band. Went nowhere. We wrote originals but not all members had good intentions. 2nd band, wrote our first song the first time we jammed. A year of bliss but then all turned sour. [bad word removed]! Just my luck.
Now I've been bandless for almost 2 years. Feels strange. Working on my snowboarding and photography more lately. Had some request for my vocals on some remakes of popular songs. Good news. Still no pay for it. I'm making a lot of youtube videos now.
Photography is another passion. I started competing when I was 14. The Spanish class was full so I had to take a course in H.S. to fill my schedule. I feel in love and I have an eye for it. I always say, "It's not the camera, it's the photographer."
When I'm not singing in a band, writing new music or taking photographs, I snowboard (given there is snow). I skied for at least 11 years off and on since I was 14 but got into snowboarding a few years back. I'm been hitting up jumps and boxes and I'll be teaching this winter/spring.
